Directions to Christ Episcopal Church from Interstate 84: Take Exit 13North off I-84. Drive directly north on Route 9 to Poughkeepsie (approx. 12 miles). Exit Route 9 on 'Academy St./South Ave.' exit. Keep to the right to merge north on Academy St. Follow Academy St. two lights to Barclay. PARKING is primarily street parking, with the exception of two Christ Church parking lots off of Barclay Ave and Carroll St. Directions to Christ Episcopal Church from the Poughkeepsie train station: Taxis are frequently available at the main entrance of the train station. Leave the main entrance of the train station and continue (one way) to Main St. and make a left. On Main St. continue up the hill to the Route 44/55West Arterial (Columbus St.). Turn right at 44/55 (Columbus) and then immediately merge to the left two lanes. At the first light make a left turn on to Church St. (44/55East Arterial). Follow Church St. two blocks to Academy St. Make a right turn on Academy followed by a left on Barclay. Shortly past Marist College, take the Church St. (44/55East Arterial) exit. Continue east on Church St three blocks to Academy St. Make a right turn on Academy followed by a left on Barclay. Continue east on Church St three blocks to Academy St. Make a right turn on Academy followed by a left on Barclay. PARKING is primarily street parking, with the exception of two Christ Church parking lots off of Barclay Ave and Carroll St. Directions to Christ Episcopal Church from Pleasant Valley (Locations East of Poughkeepsie): Take either Route 44 or Route 55 into Poughkeepsie; these two routes merge into one 44/55West Arterial through Downtown Poughkeepsie. Follow 44/55West through Poughkeepsie. Just after Main St, the Arterial loops towards the left anticipating an approach to the Mid-Hudson Bridge; merge into the two left lanes (right lanes enter on to the Mid-Hudson Bridge).
