Suzuki Voice Tuition Rates by Session and by 'Level'

10-private lessons included in each Billing Session
Tuition structure is by 'Age' and/or 'Level of Study'

NOTE: NEW Students may apply for study at any time and during any billing session.
Tuition rates for any session will be 'pro-rated' as needed for any new student beginning in the middle of a billing session.
All NEW parents are expected to schedule and attend a New Parent Orientation.

Primary expenses covered by the Activity Fee for Voice Students is shared cost of the Recital/Event space and shared cost of the Recital/Event Accompanist. Other activities are included in the charge as may be required. See Activity Fee.

10 PRIVATE LESSONS for 3- and 4-year-olds
All students are invited to perform in all scheduled Studio Recitals.

  • SUZUKI VOICE Volume 1 & 2 repertoire enrolled in private lessons:
    30-minute private lesson = $225 (Includes $25 Activity Fee.).

10 PRIVATE LESSONS for 5 years and up
All students are expected to perform in all scheduled Studio Recitals.

  • SUZUKI VOICE Level ONE (Volume 1) enrolled in private lessons:
    30-minute private lesson = $285 (Includes $35 Activity Fee.)
  • SUZUKI VOICE Level TWO (Volume 2) enrolled in private lessons:
    30-minute private lesson = $315 (Includes $45 Activity Fee.)
  • SUZUKI VOICE Level THREE (Volume 3) enrolled in private lessons:
    45-minute private lesson = $425 (Includes $55 Activity Fee.)
  • SUZUKI VOICE Level FOUR (Beginning Advanced) enrolled in private lessons:
    45-minute private lesson = $425 (Includes $55 Activity Fee.)
    60-minute private lesson = $525 (Includes $55 Activity Fee.)
  • SUZUKI VOICE Level FIVE (Advanced) enrolled in private lessons:
    60-minute private lesson = $525 (Includes $55 Activity Fee.)

10 PRIVATE LESSONS for Babies and Toddlers
All babies or toddlers are automatically included at no extra charge in any Studio Recital events.

  • SUZUKI VOICE 'Baby Lessons'
    30-minute private lesson = $96 for 8 lessons.
    Group 'Baby' classes may or may not be available, depending on enrollment.
  • SUZUKI VOICE 'Toddler Lessons'
    30-minute private lesson = $136 for 8 lessons.
    Group 'Toddler-age' classes may or may not be available, depending on enrollment.

  • SUZUKI VOICE 'Baby & Toddler GROUP Lessons': are scheduled in 8-class segments (usually per session) when minimum enrollment allows.
    Minimum enrollment for Baby class: 2     «//»     Minimum enrollment for Toddler class: 3 (exceptions may be allowed; please inquire)
    Tuition Cost: $48 per student for 8 group lessons
    Additional one-time cost for class materials (New Parents only): $30
    Class length is approximately 30 minutes, dependent on the changing needs of the young students involved. Suzuki Method demands that the teacher respect the emotional limits of the individual child on a day to day basis.
    A New Parent Orientation (FREE) for all students is recommended before lessons begin.
    Tuition for late enrollees will received pro-rated tuition according to the number of remaining lessons in the 8-class session.
    Scheduling is flexibly arranged during week-days (Monday thru Wednesday) according to the needs of the families enrolled and the availability of the teacher.
    All students (babies or toddlers) are automatically included at no extra charge in any scheduled Studio Recital events including all Studio Group Lessons and Recitals.

  • SUZUKI VOICE 'Family Lesson' (multiple children in one scheduled lesson appointment) rates are available under certain conditions. The ages and number of children involved are considered when deciding if a Family Lesson is appropriate. Please request a quote from the Teacher for your particular circumstances.






Suzuki Piano Tuition Rates by Billing Session

Includes a $25 Activity Fee for participation in Studio Recitals and Events.
All students are invited to perform in all scheduled Studio Recitals.

  • SUZUKI PIANO student (all ages) enrolled in private lessons:
    30-minute lesson = $295 (Includes $25 Activity Fee.)
    45-minute lesson = $395 (Includes $25 Activity Fee.)
    60-minute lesson = $495 (Includes $25 Activity Fee.)





Tuition Description
Including the Activity Fee

  • Tuition is calculated for each student according to their particular enrollment status based on age (Voice) and the number of Individual lessons in the session (usually 10-lessons) plus a 'Comprehensive Activity Fee'.

  • The SUZUKI VOICE student Activity Fee includes: participation in Studio Recitals (including venue space expenses and Accompanist expenses); additional group lessons when scheduled by the Studio; additional rehearsals related to Recitals scheduled by the Studio; extra teacher time and assistance with any 'Level' graduation recitals [note: Additional Fees may be individually charged for 'Level' graduation recitals if there is extra expense due to rental of venue space other than the Croft Road Studio and/or requirement of an accompanist other than the teacher]; and occasional extra teacher time and assistance with auditions, NYSSMA preparation, or preparations related to a school performance.
    The 'Activity Fee' is calculated as a 'annual expense' with student payment evenly divided across the Studio's three separate billing periods (A-Fall, B-Winter, & C-Spring).

  • The SUZUKI PIANO student Activity Fee includes: participation in Studio Recitals (including venue space expenses); additional group lessons scheduled by the Studio; extra teacher time and assistance with any 'Level' graduation recitals [note: Additional Fees may be individually charged for 'Level' graduation recitals if there is extra expense due to rental of venue space other than the Croft Road Studio; and occasional extra teacher time and assistance with auditions, NYSSMA preparation, or preparations related to a school performance.
    The 'Activity Fee' is calculated as a 'annual expense' with student payment evenly divided across the Studio's three separate billing periods (A-Fall, B-Winter, & C-Spring).

  • Student Graduation Recitals are 'special cases' and may or may not be charged an extra fee depending on the circumstances (i.e. if there is incidental expense for hall rental, fee for vocal accompanist other than the teacher, etc.). Graduation Recitals conducted in the Croft Road Studio location and accompanied by the teacher are included in the 'Activity Fee'.





New Parent Orientation Fee
The Suzuki Method requires a Fully Informed Parent for a successful outcome.

  • $30 one-time fee for all new Suzuki Voice parents and $20 one-time fee for all new Suzuki Piano parents covers the cost of required materials as listed below. The Lecture appointment is free.
  • Required for ALL new parents, preferably before a child begins instruction.
  • For ALL parents this INCLUDES a copy of Dr. Suzuki's book: "Nurtured by Love" (required reading) and a Parent Handbook compiled by the teacher.
  • For Suzuki Voice parents this INCLUDES the cost of 'Suzuki Voice Vol. 1 & CD' (supplied by the teacher at the Orientation).
  • Suzuki Piano parents should ADDITIONALLY purchase 'Suzuki Piano School Vol. 1 New International Edition' (book & CD) prior to study.
  • PURPOSE & DESCRIPTION: The 'New Parent Orientation' is designed to fully inform the parent(s) in regard to: 1) the Suzuki Method; 2) how the Method is applied to teaching the specific instrument under study; and 3) the parent's role in the process, including their responsibilities to their child both in the lesson and at home. The purpose of the 'New Parent Orientation' is to come as close as possible to guaranteeing a successful outcome of study from the very beginning.
  • LENGTH & SCHEDULING: This 'New Parent Orientation' Lecture/Discussion generally runs 1 to 2 hours; parents should schedule 2 hours to allow for as much time for questions as they wish. More time, or an additional session, may be scheduled at the parent's request and at no additonal charge.
    Scheduling is flexible, but must be outside of the regular teaching schedule.
    Children are best left at home due to the length and nature of the discussion, but may attend if the parent has no alternative.
